I'm Piotr Godek, founder of Morialta Software, an independent software practice.

I help founders and organisations turn business ideas and complex problems into practical software solutions, from early exploration and design through to implementation and delivery.

Over the past decade, much of my work has been in scholarly communications and research infrastructure, alongside people building products and services for academic libraries, research institutions, publishers and researchers.

Piotr Godek

Founder of Morialta Software.

I have worked in software for more than 25 years, across product development, software architecture and technical leadership.

My strength is working between business and technology: understanding unfamiliar problems, exploring practical solutions, and taking responsibility for designing and delivering software.

I have spent much of the past decade working in scholarly communications and research infrastructure, including Knowledge Unlatched, Oable and Publishing Gateway.

I am particularly comfortable working independently alongside founders and domain experts, especially when the technical direction is not yet clear.

Morialta Software is intentionally small. When you work with Morialta Software, you work directly with me.
